Position: Physical Therapist

Salary: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday with weekend rotation

Facility: 130 bed facility offering both long-term and short-term rehabilitation services

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations

- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and patient goals

- Implement treatment plans using various techniques and modalities, such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and assistive devices

- Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients

- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises to improve their mobility and function

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation

- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in regards to patient care and confidentiality

- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and advancements in physical therapy

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

- Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a rehabilitation facility

- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to patient care

- Basic computer skills and experience with electronic medical records systems
