Position: Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with various speech, language, and communication disorders. You will work with a diverse population, including children and adults, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and individualized care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of speech, language, and communication abilities

- Develop and implement treatment plans based on individual needs and goals

- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address speech, language, and communication disorders

- Monitor and document progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

- Educate and involve family members and caregivers in treatment plans and strategies

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, teachers, and psychologists, to provide a multidisciplinary approach to care

- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and records

- Adhere to all ethical and professional standards set forth by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and state licensing board

Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university

- Current state license in Speech-Language Pathology

- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably with pediatric and/or adult populations

- Knowledge of various speech, language, and communication disorders and their treatment methods

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies

- Bilingual abilities a plus
