Position: Physical Therapist (P-Physical Therapist)
Salary Range: $46-$51 per hour
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday (no weekend rotation)
Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) with 64 beds
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at our Skilled Nursing Facility. As a P-Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with a variety of physical conditions, injuries or disabilities. Your goal will be to help patients improve their mobility, relieve pain, and restore function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Utilize a variety of techniques and modalities to improve patients' strength, balance, coordination, and range of motion
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to improve their condition and prevent further injury
- Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure understanding and compliance with treatment plans
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in physical therapy and incorporate new techniques and methods into practice
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a SNF setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
