Job Description:

Position Title: Physical Therapist

Salary Range: $40-$43 per hour

Work Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday with occasional weekends as needed. No weekend rotation.

Facility Type: 99 bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at our 99 bed Skilled Nursing Facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a strong background in providing physical therapy services to patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate patients' physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to improve their mobility, strength, and overall physical function

- Monitor and document patients' progress throughout their therapy sessions

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients

- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities to improve their condition

- Utilize various therapeutic techniques and equipment to help patients achieve their therapy goals

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports

- Stay current with industry developments and advancements in physical therapy techniques and treatments

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution

- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a SNF setting

- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

- CPR certification
