Salary Range: $41-50/hr (Based on experience and qualifications)

Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday with weekend rotation

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at our skilled nursing facility. Our facility offers a range of services including post-hospital short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and respite care. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their maximum physical potential and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans

- Implement and monitor treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall physical function

- Utilize a variety of techniques and modalities such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and assistive devices to help patients achieve their goals

- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises to continue at home

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients

- Document all treatment and progress notes accurately and timely

- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area

- Stay up-to-date with current trends and developments in physical therapy through continuing education and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

- Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist

- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting preferred

- Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles and techniques

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

- Basic computer skills for documentation purposes
