Position: Physical Therapist

Salary Range: $41,000-$50,000

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday with weekend rotation

Facility: 110 beds; Mental Health Unit, Dementia Unit

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at our facility with 110 beds, including a Mental Health Unit and Dementia Unit. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping our patients achieve optimal physical function and mobility.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations

- Develop personalized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and patient goals

- Implement treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities

- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed

- Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to improve their physical function and prevent future injuries

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients

- Stay up-to-date on current research and techniques in the physical therapy field

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient treatments and progress

- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards, as well as facility policies and procedures

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

- Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist

- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar setting preferred

- Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, techniques, and modalities

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

- Basic computer skills and knowledge of electronic medical records

- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed
